The energy group at Gravel and Shea brings together the talent and expertise of the firm's real estate, environmental, financing, business, tax, and litigation practice groups. With backgrounds in areas such as telecommunications and utility regulation, members of the energy group have vast experience in representing clients before state and federal regulatory agencies, including the Vermont Public Service Board and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Additionally, our attorneys have provided government relations, tax, real estate, and corporate guidance and assistance for a wide range of clients, from utilities to developers. We employ a full-service approach and deliver comprehensive project support that includes the following:

• Representation in regulatory affairs before state agencies and other authorities
• Guidance in federal and state tax matters, including tax structures unique to alternative energy projects
• Assistance with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and other environmental and real estate matters
