The Caledonian Record requested access to recordings of a police chase and subsequent shooting. The alleged criminal defendant resisted production of the recordings. Matthew B. Byrne argued for access to a police video taken of a police chase and shooting of a suspect. After Gravel & Shea PC intervened on behalf of the newspaper, the defendant withdrew any objection he had to the release of the video recordings. The video recordings have now been posted on the newspaper’s web page.
