Gravel & Shea is delighted to welcome Catherine Burke to the firm. As an Associate Attorney on the corporate team, Catherine will serve clients on a range of issues, including taxation, business formation and representation as well as blockchain technology.
“I am pleased to join Gravel & Shea,” said Catherine. “I was drawn to the firm because of its reputation for excellence and dedication to providing the best outcomes for clients. And of course it has an unparalleled location in my hometown of Burlington, Vermont. I look forward to working alongside this accomplished group of attorneys and serving clients at Gravel & Shea.
Prior to joining Gravel & Shea, Catherine worked for a large accounting firm, where she provided tax consulting services. Catherine graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University Law School, where she was Student Bar Association President and served on the Law Review.
“We are very excited to have Catherine join our corporate department at Gravel & Shea,” said Partner Peter Erly. “Catherine has substantial experience working on tax and other legal issues both inside and outside law firms in the DC area. It is great that she has decided to return home to Vermont. We expect that she will be an active member of our blockchain technology practice group as well as other business-related legal efforts.”
