Gravel & Shea Expands Team with Three New Hires

Burlington, Vermont (December 4, 2024) — Gravel & Shea, one of Vermont’s premier law firms, welcomes three new team members to strengthen its client-centric approach to law.

Rick Schlott joins as a legal assistant and will assist our estate planning attorneys in providing exceptional service and support to our clients. With over 13 years of corporate experience, Rick most recently worked as a legal assistant at Senn Visciano Canges P.C. in Denver, CO. He is a graduate of Plymouth State University, holds a paralegal certification from San Francisco State University and a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) certification from the University of Vermont. 

Stepheni Newton is helping to shape our workplace culture and direct employee engagement as Gravel & Shea’s first-ever dedicated Human Resource Manager. Stepheni brings 20 years of business experience, most recently serving in HR and operations roles at Champlain Orchards and Casella Construction. She graduated from Johnson State College and holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. 

Eaton Lowell joins as a legal assistant providing essential support to Gravel & Shea’s practice areas of criminal defense, family law, and personal injury & product liability. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Eaton most recently served as a legal assistant to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont.
