Community Commitment

“To support and improve our community” has been part of our mission statement and the spirit of Gravel & Shea since its founding. We take this seriously by aiming to make a meaningful difference through financial support, volunteer work, and offering pro bono expertise. Vermont Women’s Fund

Our primary sponsorship, a cause we have supported for nearly two decades, continues to be the Vermont Women’s Fund, whose work we’ve supported for 16 years. Creating economic equality for women and girls in Vermont is a cause close to our hearts, and it is increasingly important during times of economic uncertainty.

Vermont Bar Association – Access to Justice Campaign

The Access to Justice Campaign’s mission is to provide civil justice to as many low-income Vermonters as possible. The campaign supports the Vermont Poverty Law Fellowship in its work on issues facing low-wage employees throughout Vermont and the Hon. John A. Dooley Competitive Grants program that helps to fund organizations that provide civil justice to low-income Vermont residents.

Burlington City Arts nurtures a dynamic environment through the arts, making quality experiences and opportunities accessible to a broad audience.
