Overview
Gravel & Shea attorneys are experienced appellate advocates in the Vermont Supreme Court, as well as federal appellate courts. We represent appellants, appellees and amici curiae (friends of the court). We have successfully represented our clients in all types of civil, family, criminal, environmental and probate appeals.
Together, our appellate team has many decades of experience briefing and arguing appeals. Our team includes former law clerks to both trial and appellate courts. We work with our clients, and their trial counsel where necessary, to craft our arguments. Our and support staff have the skills to analyze and organize vast amounts of information from the underlying trial court matter. We use our deep experience, creativity, and exceptional writing to persuasively and successfully present our clients’ cases to the Court.
