Chris M. Bohórquez is an employment law attorney at Gravel & Shea. He joined the firm in 2025. Chris’ practice mainly focuses on counseling the firm’s corporate clients on employment matters and assisting on employment-related litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris was an associate at a small law firm in Burlington, Vermont specializing in business litigation, insurance defense, and intellectual property matters. During his time at the University of Michigan Law School, Chris was a senior student-attorney with the school’s Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic, interned with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, and was a summer associate with K&L Gates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to attending law school, Chris worked as a policy analyst at a leading bipartisan government affairs and communications firm in Washington, D.C. In that role, Chris primarily assisted in guiding clients in the food & agriculture sectors through the complex and ever-changing federal and state legislative and political landscape. Chris also spent a year as a health care litigation paralegal at Akin Gump’s D.C. office. In that role, Chris assisted with appellate litigators in preparing for oral arguments in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. During his undergraduate studies, Chris interned with the ACLU’s National Prison Project, the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration, and in the U.S. House of Representatives.
