Katharine (Katy) Litka is a litigation attorney at Gravel & Shea. She joined the firm in 2024. Her practice focuses on all aspects of litigation in state and federal court.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked as an attorney with Seyfarth Shaw LLP in New York on corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions and real estate financing. During law school at Emory University, she interned with the Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs, externed with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), worked for a year with Emory’s International Humanitarian Law Clinic, and was a member of Moot Court. Before attending law school, she spent three years as a legal support analyst with the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Public Integrity Bureau, investigating and assisting in the litigation of cases involving public corruption of officials and misuse of public funds.
