Lachlan H. Tyler

 

Lachlan Tyler is a litigation attorney at Gravel & Shea.  Lachlan practices in the areas of business litigation, appellate review, and criminal defense.  He has appeared before both federal and state courts in New York and Australia.

 

Before returning to Vermont, Lachlan practiced in New York City, where he represented clients in commercial litigation, white collar fraud matters, and complex disputes involving healthcare providers.  He previously worked at a respected civil litigation firm in Sydney, Australia, after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne Law School in December 2017.  From 2010 to 2014, Lachlan lived in Cairo, Egypt, where he contributed to the Transitional Justice Project and witnessed the country’s first democratic presidential election and the subsequent military crackdown.

 

Lachlan’s paternal family are from Franklin County, where he attended Swanton Elementary School.
